| planned. I plan on removing the trim and stripping the oem coating. Here at work we have a vinyl type blackout adhesive vinyl that comes in rolls about 18" wide. I'm going to apply the vinyl directly to the trim just like you would apply any adhesive backed decal to a windshield or painted panel. Then simply trim the excess and reinstall the trim. When I do the job next week I'll take some pics and post it here. Although I'm getting the vinyl for free and it's aircraft grade stuff, anyone can find good grade vinyl at a graphics decal shop. The same place you would go to get custom decals printed for a sign = (sign shop). You can also find it at a good autobody supply shop. From an autobody supply shop you would be looking for pinstriping tape about 1.25" wide or so. If they don't have it on the shelf ask them to look in their tape catologue and order it. Your looking for "matte black" or "flat black". As for the 2 piece winshield-hood moulding I simply sanded down the dried moulding to and repainted it with a primer coat and then flat black paint. I only did the battery side since that one was easist and will do the driver side when I'm doing the trim.
